Thanks for downloading our Flash-video player with categories.

Included in the pack You will find the following files:

• in /data - data.xml, sample logo, sample thumbs & sample videos
• in /javascript - swfobject files
• in /source - Flash source files (open with Flash CS3 or higher)
• in /source/classes_as3 - actionscript files used to compile the flash files. Please note this folder has to reside in the same folder where source flash files are
• in /source/resources - graphic files

Only system fonts have been used

Provided are versions with white-ornge, white-blue and black-blue skins.
When using CS3 please use the "Enable Live Preview" option in the "Control" menu

Modifications

• AS3-based scripting. Please check for comments inside the fla file
  
• If using a mac, please make sure that the paths to the .as files contain ./ in front - publich settings/flash/ActionScript3 - settings
  
• XML structure is described in the provided .txt file; references are also described inside the fla file
  
• You can adjust basic parameters through the html code of "index.html":
  path to xml file, repeat mode, default volume, buffer tim, timer mode, fullscreen mode, languages, etc.
  
• Customization of colors needs sufficient knowledge of Adobe Flash -
  You can change graphic layout and items from fla-file's library or in depth on its timeline.
  

VIDEO GALLERY MAIN FEATURES

• Users can drag-and-drop an item (from the gallery) onto the main video area. - Please note that if "single click" option is enabled through the html code, dragging is discarded.
  By default "single-clicking" on an item from a gallery plays the video, otherwise it loads the video and stops it on the first frame.
  
• XML driven content with live feed option (you can use links to youtube.com or other fave external sources etc.)
  
• The XML structure lets you specify a flash video file (advertisement) to play before or after any item in the category
  To do so insert a "before" or "after" parameter as shown in the sample xml file
• Bookmark a signle item - this release uses SWF Object (www.ausal.com) deep linking for flash
  
• Filter/Search) function for items inside a category - type a word and press icon on right to sort items.
  Clear text and it's in normal mode
  
• Up to 199 items are supported for a single category. More than that may result in a bug and has not been yet tested!
  
• Multiple language support for categories, titles and descriptions.
  
• Change the embedded sample logo with your site's own branding sign - just replace the "logo.png" file in the data folder with your own.
  
• Thumbnails of viewed categories cache and thus speed-up the preview.
  
• The scroller auto-hides/shows when needed.
  
• Mouse wheel scrolling function is enabled.
  
• Use "Space" key to play/pause the video
