Please read the followings bullet texts carefully before applying:

  • Applications online are the preferred method of submitting for funding. However hardcopy applications are available at the Arts Council offices in Santa Rosa if required. ACSC address is 404 Mendocino Avenue, Suite C, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.

  • Please double check that your event proposal meets the criteria of the festival.

  • Please triple check all your details before clicking the Submit button.

  • When the form data is successfully sent to the database, a message will appear in red at the top of this page saying: "Thank you. The information has been added". If so, please do not resubmit. If not and you get an error message-- The entry could not be added. Please try again --then please inform jmoran@artscouncilsc.com

  • The deadline for applications is 11:59:59pm April 30th, 2010.

  • Part of the requirement for acceptance of application and funding consideration is a reciprocity agreement as stated in the Criteria document. That requires that all funded events prominently display the ArtsSonoma - 2010 logo on any print or press print promotion material for their events, on any web site or social and viral network with a link back to ArtsSonoma.com and that proof of such promotional activities with the inclusion of the ArtsSonoma logo be submitted to the Arts Council before the balance of agreed fundingis paid.

  • Also required is the completion of a short information survey (5 questions) to be returned after your event/s have completed. Please agree to both terms before submitting your application. To be considered for funding you will be required to agree to both the terms of the logo and the survey.
   

   
  • Please be aware that the total amount available, countywide, for artist funding is $36,000. The maximum grant that will be available to any one applicant is $2,500. There is no minimum amount. All successful applicants will be fully featured in the print program for the festival and on the festival website. Plus the SonomaArts Portal.

  • Decisions on funding granted will be made available to the grantees by at the latest by May 15th, 2010.


  • For Non Recipients of funding. All arts orgs and individuals will be offered a one eighth of a page four color display ad (3.5" x 2.5" landscape) in the print program at no cost in exchange for the siting of the ArtsSonoma festival Logo on their websites for the period of the festival and or insertion into their programs for that period.

  • The point of the festival in many ways is to bring public focus on the arts with all its multi-faceted variations; To bring power to our sector as a body of much influence beyond our individual efforts. By siting the logo with ubiquity we bring that sense of individual flair paired with sector strength.
